About us

At The Body & Mind Institute for Healing and Growth (BAM), we believe that meaningful healing happens when every part of a person is welcomed—the body, the mind, and the relationships that shape who we are. Founded by Joshua Manculich, M.Ed., LPCC, BAM was created from a lifetime of walking alongside others as an educator, coach, professor, and therapist. Across more than two decades of working with children, adolescents, families, athletes, and adults, Joshua has witnessed a common truth: lasting change begins not by fixing people, but by helping them find awareness, creativity, and reconnect with themselves. His work is grounded in Gestalt therapy, Polyvagal theory, and the understanding that our thoughts, emotions, relationships, and physical experiences are deeply interconnected.
