What are the areas of expertise in the practice?

Children & Play Therapy

$160 per session

Gestalt play therapy is a child-centered approach that helps children process difficult emotions by focusing on their immediate, present-moment awareness. Through creative activities like drawing, puppetry, and sand tray work, children freely express internal conflicts and learn to take responsibility for their feelings. This therapeutic process ultimately strengthens the child's self-concept and restores their natural ability to self-regulate and grow.

Teens & Young Adults

$160 per session

Josh helps teens navigate the often complicated space between childhood and adulthood, creating a relationship where they can feel understood while exploring identity, emotions, relationships, confidence, and the pressures of growing up. With adults, Josh offers a thoughtful space to slow down, understand patterns, work through anxiety, transitions, relationships, grief, and questions of identity and purpose. At BAM, therapy is not about “fixing” who you are—it is about becoming more aware of yourself, strengthening the connection between body and mind, and discovering new ways of moving through your life.

Adults

$160 per participant

At BAM, Josh works with adults who want to understand themselves as a whole person—not simply manage a symptom, diagnosis, or difficult season. Therapy creates space to explore the connection between your thoughts, emotions, relationships, body, history, creativity, and the ways you have learned to move through the world. Together, the work is about slowing down, becoming more aware of what you need, and developing a more connected and authentic relationship with yourself and your life.

Under Section 2799B-6 of the Public Health Service Act (the "No Surprises Act"), and Ohio licensing board rules, you have the right to receive a written Good Faith Estimate (GFE) explaining the total expected cost of any non-emergency healthcare items or services. This right applies to individuals who do not have insurance, are not using insurance, or are not filing a claim with a federal healthcare program.

Your Rights Under Federal Law

Advance Notice: You have the right to receive a GFE in writing at least 1 business day before your

scheduled medical service or item. You can also request an estimate prior to scheduling.

Scope of Estimate: The GFE includes the total expected cost of all related, non-emergency items or

services (e.g., sessions, medical tests, equipment).

Dispute Process: If you receive a bill that is at least $400 more than your GFE, you have the right to dispute the bill. Dispute information is available upon request. Always save a copy or photo of your GFE.

More Information: For questions or details about your right to a Good Faith Estimate, visit www.cms.gov/nosurprises.

Ohio Regulatory & Practice Policies

Actual Cost Agreement: Ohio licensing rules require the actual cost of charges to be provided in a written Informed Consent form. You must agree to these fees prior to receiving services or being billed.

Billing Protections: Because you agree to actual per-session charges upfront, actual bills are highly unlikely to exceed the estimated cost. Any changes to fees require an updated Informed Consent form signed by you; otherwise, agreed-upon fees remain in effect for 12 months.

Duration of Services: The total number of sessions needed varies based on your clinical evaluation, progress, and individual efforts. It is usually impossible to estimate the exact total of sessions upfront.

Termination: You are free to discontinue services at any time. Services may also be terminated in accordance with your Informed Consent agreement.
